About The Event

Join playwright and professor of history, Michael Gubser, for a reading of his latest musical There will be two readings: Sat Nov 14 at 7pm and Sun Nov 15 at 2pm in Estes (Forbes Center) 2240 on the campus of James Madison University. The performances will be readings, which means the performers will read and sing the show, with accompanying musicians, but it will not be fully staged (no costumes or sets, minimal blocking, etc.). The shows are open to the public, and feedback from the audience will be very valuable as we hone the show for further submissions in November and December. This play was performed and favorable received in New York City earlier this year.
