About The Event

Aircraft and Aviators of the First World War

Captain Billy Walker will give a presentation on the "Aircraft and Aviators of the First World War" in the Arizona CAF Museum in Mesa, AZ. Attending the presentation is included in museum admission. Capt. Walker, a former Air America pilot in Southeast Asia, and well-known champion of military aviation history has deep personal knowledge about these heroes of the air and gives compelling accounts of key moments that became legend. From Luke, to Rickenbacker, to SPADs, Sopwiths and more -- Walker gives keen insight to the rapid development of tactics and the steely courage of those who were the first fighter pilots.
