The Great War in America Panel Discussion
Join the Woodrow Wilson House for a WWI panel discussion on the unexpected social changes precipitated by the Great War. Authors Garrett Peck (The Great War in America: WWI and its Aftermath) and Don Shomette (The Ghost Fleet of Mallows Bay), moderated by Edwin Fountain, Vice Chair of the United States World War One Centennial Commission, discuss the Red Scare, race riots, women's suffrage, the labor movement and Prohibition. Mr. Peck is available to sign books following the program.
