Veterans Day History - Metuchen Edison Historical Society

Metuchen Edison Historical Society, jointly with American Legion Fugle-Hummer Post 65 Metuchen, will be displaying items from World War 1, including letters and uniforms worn by local World War 1 veterans. World War 1 Marine Dress Blue Uniform from Marine assigned in 1917 to battleship USS Oklahoma which was sunk at Pearl Harbor December 7,1941. Various letters Bayonets Photos.Historic documents of Both Edward Oscar Fugle and Frank Hummer both died of wounds Battle of Mihiel September 24,1917.
