Re-dedication of the Chicago Council of Gold Star Mothers Memorial Monument

This long forsaken monument was lost to the ages, but has been rediscovered and restored to it original form. Please join us to mark the triumphant return of the Chicago Council of Gold Star Mothers Memorial monument.

The event is open to the public and will include Marine Corps Recruiting Station will provide color guard support. Bugles Across America will play Taps. Rev. William Kenneally will provide the Invocation and Benediction. The schedule speakers will be Modie Lavin the USMC Gold Star family of U.S. Marine Cpl. Conner Lowry, several veterans’ organizations and special guests.
