Opening of the exhibition “The Album of Remembrance of Our Ancestors from World War I"

The exhibit of photographs of the project "Album of Remembrance of Our Ancestors from the World War I" presents photographs, war diaries, military letters, correspondence cards, memorials and other historical material of the participants of the World War I. These are unique testimonies of the war adventures and sufferings of the Serbian soldiers in the war years which were suppressed from the pages of world history. The exhibit "Album of Remembrance of Our Ancestors from the World War I" is a result of the desire, a hundred years later, to pay due honor to this little man from the Great War for Civilization and to save from the oblivion his great sacrifice for justice, truth, freedom and humanity, and turn it into a cultural heritage.

The project is "Album of Remembrance of Our Ancestors from the World War I" www.slavnimprecima.rs/en is dedicated to celebrate the centenary from the end of the Great War.
