Anniversary Flag Unveiling

On Aug 9, 1920, the City Counsel of Colorado Springs presented to American Legion Post 5 of Colorado a silk flag for their first anniversary. This flag was rediscovered again. While researching this flag, it lead to the fact the flag was taken "Over There" by the Nation Guard Unit C Battery of 148th Field Artillery which had been formed in Colorado Springs. So, to honor these boys of Battery C, we had the flag framed and will be unveiled at midnight of the 11th in France to honor these long passed heroes.
