About The Event

Calvert Library commemorates the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.  Highlighted will be the names of those who served and died, as listed on the Court House monument, erected in 1920.  The Naval Academy Brass Quintet will be providing a musical tribute starting at 10:45 AM.  George Owings III, Maryland Secretary of Veterans Affairs, will provide the introduction.

Joyce Baki will speak about the World War I Monument and the 18 men who gave their lives during World War I.
