WWI Centennial Commemoration - Fort Smith

Trane Custom Commercial HVAC Manufacturing Facility will host an event commemorating the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI. This event will include flag raising, commemorative stone dedication, and reading of the history of the war and the armistice. Taps will be played and Marine Corps League River Valley Det 1248 will provide a rifle salute and the Flag detail.

Comments and dedication will be provided by the Plant Manager and Colonel in the USMC Reserve, Philip B Farr.

Event will conclude with a cake cutting ceremony marking the 243rd birthday of the United States Marine Corps.
