Armistice 100th Anniversary celebration - Arvonia

Co-hosted by Merry Lu Pasley and the Arvonia Historic Preservation Society.

A celebration of the WW 1 Armistice, signed at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918. We will be remembering and honoring the sacrifices of World War 1 military (and those at home) while also honoring all veterans and current military. 

There is no admission charge. Guests will have the opportunity to donate to the Honor Flights program for veterans .(and also to the Arvonia Historic Preservation Society)..

11:00 a.m.: Arvonia Church
Worship service

12:00-3:00: Arvonia Town Hall
Buffet dinner served
Musical entertainment from 1918
Honor Quilt given away to a veteran or current military

Silent Auction

School House open for touring
