DESCRIPTION:The museum will host the State of New Mexico’s World War I interactive exhi
 bit opening Memorial Day weekend in Santa Fe.  The purpose of the exhibit i
 s to educate Americans about WWI and highlight the sacrifices made by the C
 itizens of New Mexico less than 5 years after becoming the 47thState.\nThe 
 two year exhibit features a WWI SE5 Biplane, a UB6 Submarine turret, a repl
 ica of Roswell’s Battery A Bunker, a replica of the American Expeditionary 
 Forces (AEF) Meuse-Argonne Cemetery, a 1916 Harley Davidson, and many WWI w
 eapons and equipment.  Working in conjunction with the World War I Centenni
 al Commission, we will host numerous WWI historian speaking events, book si
 gnings, and films at the Museum over this two year period.\n
