 style="line-height: 1.38;">Joining &nbsp;&nbsp;with many &nbsp;&nbsp;commun
 ities across &nbsp;&nbsp;the country, Lincoln &nbsp;&nbsp;Park is hosting a
  special ceremony and bell-tolling on Sunday, November &nbsp;11th observing
  the centenary of the Armistice which brought peace and an end to the First
  World War (originally, “The Great War”), leading to the establishing of Ar
 mistice Day as an annual day of remembrance that would officially become Ve
 terans Day in 1954. &nbsp;The State of Michigan has proclaimed November 11,
  2018 as ‘World War I Remembrance Day’, as has the U.S. World War I Centenn
 ial Commission to honor the memories of those who served and those who lost
  their lives in the Great War. Lincoln Park’s two veterans’ chapters, Ameri
 can Legion Post 67 and VFW Post 552 are co-sponsors and participants in the
  &nbsp;commemoration event that will begin at 10:45 a.m. Lincoln Park Mayor
  Thomas Karnes, U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Dingell and other government offi
 cials will be on hand to take part in the ceremony. Museum curator, Jeff Da
 y, states, “we will be observing the 11:00 a.m. bell-tolling here on the mu
 seum grounds, joining with communities across the country and the world at 
 the appointed hour: the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. &nbsp;
 We are gathering just a bit earlier to start the ceremony at 10:45 a.m. The
  ceremony will feature the reciting of names of those men from our communit
 y who served in the Great War and will include the Presentation of Colors a
 long with readings, prayers, and music.” All are invited to attend, with a 
 special invitation being extended to anyone whose ancestors served in the G
 reat War. The museum will have special hours on Sunday,November 11th, remai
 ning open to the public until 2:00 p.m. &nbsp;The ceremony will be held on 
 the grounds of the Lincoln Park Historical Society &amp; Museum, located at
