DESCRIPTION:The Maryland Military Band will perform WWI-era music at Fort McHenry to co
 mmemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of The Great War on November 11,
  1918. From 1917-1923, Fort McHenry was home to the 3,000 bed US Army Gener
 al Hospital No. 2, and eventually more than 20,000 sick and wounded soldier
 s would pass through the hospital on their way home from the war. In additi
 on to performances by the Band there will be commemorative flag raisings an
 d moments of silence scheduled during the day, along with WWI interpreters
