  Hour of the 11th Day of the 11th Month” will take place on Saturday, Novem
 ber 10, beginning at 10 a.m., at the Morris County Library, 30 East Hanover
  Avenue, Whippany, NJ.\nKathy Murphy, Chair, Morris County Heritage Commiss
 ion, will welcome attendees at 10 a.m. \nVarious speakers will present WWI-
 related topics throughout the day. The first presenter will be Amery Vasso,
  Morris County Commander, American Legion. He’ll discuss the history of the
  American Legion, chartered in 1919. His talk begins at 10:15.\nAt 10:45, t
 he Air Force Association will present a lithograph by renowned aviation art
 ist and Morris County resident Keith Ferris to the Morris County Heritage C
 ommission. The lithograph, depicting flying ace Eddie Rickenbacker’s Old Nu
 mber One SPAD XIII Number 4523 aircraft, will be on permanent display at th
 e Morris County Library. Making the presentation will be the artist, a Nati
 onal Aviation Hall of Fame inductee, and William M. Fosina, President, Chap
 ter 195 and NER, Air Force Association. Howard Leach will speak about Capta
 in Arthur Raymond Brooks, US Army Air Service flying ace, and Claire Whitco
 mb will talk about her great-uncle 1st Lt. Philip Hassinger, Brooks’s wingm
 an. The remarks and presentation will be followed at 11 a.m. by a moment of
  silence to remember those who died defending our country.\nVivian Davis, a
  historical interpreter and museum educator, will discuss the many facets o
 f women’s service during the Great War. Her talk begins at 11:45.\nThe afte
 rnoon activities kick off with a discussion of the Victrola record player a
 nd the music of the era at 1:30. The speaker is Ron Northrup, historical in
 terpreter and educator. His presentation will be followed at 2:00 by an exa
 mination of the Treaty of Versailles, which ended the state of war between 
 Germany and the Allied Powers. The speaker is Mendham High School history t
 eacher and historical interpreter Steve Santucci.\nThe final presentation, 
 at 3:00, will be “Marching Home: Veterans’ Challenges” as explored by John 
 Torkos, historical interpreter and museum educator.\nShultz will wrap up th
 e day’s events at 3:45. Throughout the day, guests will be able to view exh
 ibits of World War I posters and women’s service uniforms. The exhibits are
