Commemoration of 100th Anniversary of American Operations in Belgium

About The Event

In October 2018, The ABMC will commemorate 100 years since the arrival of the American Expeditionary Forces into Belgium at the Flanders Field American Cemetery. In addition to ceremonies remembering the soldiers who died to liberate Belgium, there will also be the public opening of the visitor center to the Cemetery, allowing future visitors to learn about the liberation of Belgium and recognize the deeds of the AEF in the closing weeks of World War One.
