Held in conjunction with Wayne Miner Post 149 of The American Legion, the event is an opportunity for the community to assist the Museum in identifying photographs of black soldiers who served in World War I. People are welcome to bring/share photos of family members who served in the Great War. The Black Archives of Mid-America will host the event and showcase items from its collection, which also features opportunities for veterans to sign up with Heartland Honor Flight as well as information from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
