Dedication of a new Monument honoring Veterans of WWI. New Monument to be located near the existing Doughboy Monument in Muskogee, Oklahoma in front of the Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center.

Event attended by DAR Chapter Members from Northeastern Oklahoma Region; City of Muskogee dignitaries; Representatives of the "Five Civilized Tribes" indicated on the existing Memorial. Brief history of the Monument...Doughboy by E.M. Viquesney, copyright by Walter Rylander Smithsonian identifier Number 47260092 and one of two existing WWI Monuments related to Native American WWI participants.
