About The Event

November 11 2018 will mark 100 years since the conclusion of fighting between the Allied and Central Powers in World War One. In recognition of the significance World War One has on the history of the 20th century and on the modern world, the U.S. Department of the Interior will designated all American World War I cemeteries in France, Belgium and the U.K. as National Historic Landmarks. This designation will be in conjunction with commemorative ceremonies throughout the United States and Europe in honor of the men and women who fought for the U.S. in World War One.
