Saturday, January 12, 2019, 10:00am - 04:00pm

About The Event

The museum will host the State of New Mexico’s World War I interactive exhibit opening Memorial Day weekend in Santa Fe.  The purpose of the exhibit is to educate Americans about WWI and highlight the sacrifices made by the Citizens of New Mexico less than 5 years after becoming the 47thState.

The two year exhibit features a WWI SE5 Biplane, a UB6 Submarine turret, a replica of Roswell’s Battery A Bunker, a replica of the American Expeditionary Forces (AEF) Meuse-Argonne Cemetery, a 1916 Harley Davidson, and many WWI weapons and equipment.  Working in conjunction with the World War I Centennial Commission, we will host numerous WWI historian speaking events, book signings, and films at the Museum over this two year period.
