About The Event

On June 10, 1919, to honor the service of the 3,500 Alumni and 85 Gold Star Men of CMA who served in World War I, the trustees of Culver Military Academy laid the cornerstone of the Legion Memorial Building to serve as an inspiration to succeeding generations of the notable war service of Culver’s sons. Upon completion, the dedication of the building included military dignitaries from the allied nations of Belgium, France, Great Britain, Italy, Romania, and Serbia.

To commemorate the end of World War I, Culver Academies will recreate the dedication ceremony of the Legion Memorial Building on the campus in Culver, Indiana for the November 11, 2018 Veterans Day ceremony.
