Every year, the village of Chester in New York. holds a ceremony on Veterans Day at the village WWI memorial with local veterans and boy scouts. This years ceremony will be to mark the centennial anniversary of the end of World War I.
A commemoration with a short speech will be held with the participation of the Chester Historical Society, American Legion Orange Blossom Post #1167, and the local churches.
Artifacts and documents from local residents and the society will be on display for the public.
