The Great War -- Birth of US Military Aviation
The Great War -- Birth of US Military Aviation exhibit will open at the Arizona Commemorative Air Force Museum in Mesa, AZ on November 10, 2018. This is the newest exhibit in central Arizona's top-rated military aviation museum (TripAdvisor). The exhibit will also become part of the permanent collection and includes artifacts from the service of Major A.J. MacElroy of the U.S. Air Service, a full size replica of the Nieuport 28 flown by Eddie Rickenbacker and compelling stories about the people and planes who advanced aviation technology, served their country -- and in some cases lost their lives in that cause.
