The German Society of Maryland in cooperation with the Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery of Baltimore, will honor the memory of Sgt. Henry Gunther on the 100th Anniversary of his death. Sgt. Gunther was highly decorated for exceptional bravery and heroic action that resulted in his death one minute before the Armistice. The commemoration will be held at the cemetery where Sgt.
