Midway Village Museum in Rockford, IL on Saturday Dec.5 will host "Christmas in the Trenches: the Story of the 1914 Christmas Truce." Re-enactment event will commemorate the 1914 Christmas truce called unofficially by the troops in the trenches, showing there could be peace and good will towards all, even in the middle of the worst war in history.
