 hes, local Legion Post #115, VFW Post #620, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and loc
 al citizens, to honor veterans on Veterans Day (we give veterans in attenda
 nce recognition, and a pin for their hat or lapel).\nAlong with music and s
 peakers, we will all toll bells at 11am as part of this nationwide event. W
 e plan to hand out bells to attendees and are getting the word out about th
 e phone app. Scouts have made thank you cards to be handed out too. \nFollo
 wing the ceremony, we are holding a 5K and 11K veterans day road race that 
 begins at 11:30am. Veterans participate for free. \nWe will also be recogni
 zing a Korean War veteran, Frederick Austin, whose name was recently added 
 to our Korean War monument in front of Town Hall. \n\n
