DESCRIPTION:<h3>AA WWI Centennial Celebration</h3><p>Gwen Redwine, Troup Co. Archives &
 amp; Museum Board Member, sponsored this multi-event of Sgt Clevland Tucker
 's 99th Birthday, Veteran's Day, and the Armistice, honoring Georgia's WWI 
 elite officers of color.</p><p>Post 523 AA WWI Centennial Special Projects 
 Historian Johnette Brooks was the speaker @ the ARMISTICE and delighted the
  guests with stories. Georgia was home to the world's first AA Pilot, a Nav
 y Cook; (9) KIA; (8) WIA; (2) @ ARL Nat'l Cem; (3) French Cem; (2) Attorney
 s; a female social worker; physicians, (8) Captain; (20) 1st Lt; (21) 2nd L
 t; (3) dentists; (3) pharmacists; (2) university professors; and (77) Sgts.
 </p><p>WWII Staff Sgt. Tucker, his wife, and approx 30 additional relatives
  were on hand to honor and cherish him while he shared his experiences in t
 he war. He was handsome, alert and had surprising recall of events. He ente
 red to a receiving line of excited fans and departed full of his birthday c
 ake.</p><p>We were warmly welcomed to the pristine, state-of-the-art center
 . The hosting post celebrated their ribbon cutting in May of this year.</p>
