Idaho Day 2018 honors our World War 1 veterans

About The Event

Idaho Day 2018 remembers the service and sacrifice of the over 20,000 soldiers who returned to the Gem State from Europe and other locations in the months following after the Armistice on Nov.11, 1918.

Representing the World War 1 heroes at this event will be re-enactors portraying two of the World War 1 veterans.:
Idaho's first Medal of Honor recipient, Private Thomas C. Neibaur of Sugar City, Idaho ; and Boise's Colonel Frederick C. Hummel, leader of the 116th Engineers.

The main program will take place in the Lincoln Auditorium (with Lincoln sculpture and artifacts in the lower level meeting room in the Senate section of the Idaho State Capitol Building.
Free and open to the public.
