Charles H. Popejoy was born around 1890. Charles Popejoy served in World War 1 with the United States Army. The enlistment was in 1917 and the service was completed in 1917.

Story of Service

 

Private First Class: served overseas in France a veteran during WWI (1917-1918). Also called "First World War, "The Great War" and "The War to End All Wars."

Duty assignment was with the 16 Discharge Company.

Awarded the WWI Victory Medal.
