This memorial site is located in front of the Tribal Administration Building in Olympia, Washington. The memorial is composed of five black granite stones. Four of the stones represent a branch of the service and have been engraved with the names of veterans both living and dead, while the center stone has the likenesses of Chiefs Quiemuth and Leschi who were murdered in the 1850s while fighting the government for their land and treaty rights.
