This WWI monument of a bronze doughboy statue rests atop a 28-ton field stone boulder in a small triangular park.  The soldier figure is charging forward holding a rifle with both hands.  He wears a helmet & leggings, a gas mask on his chest, and various pouches strapped to his belt.

A bronze plaque is affixed to one side of the boulder, dedicating the monument to the sons & daughters of Ridgefield who served in the war.  It was erected by the Ridgefield Exchange Club.
