U.S. Army Center of Military History

The U.S. Army’s Center Of Military History (CMH) is responsible for the appropriate use of history throughout the United States Army.

The vast majority of Americans who experienced combat in World War I served with the U.S. Army.  For the Centennial, CMH is highlighting historical publications and creating new materials, including lesson plans, that tell the story of America’s Army in the Great War.
