Greensburg School Corporation Event

Greensburg Community High School (GCHS) students and teachers welcomed the community to a free patriotic presentation intended to commemorate Decatur County's involvement in World War I, and most specifically, its soldiers whose acts of valor performed in the name of freedom helped turn the tide of war.

This event took place on April 6, 2017, to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the United States' official entry into World War I.

The community honored all 29 Gold Star Honor Roll members of their community. Each grave site was decorated and photos were taken, including the four buried in American cemeteries in France.

There was a live stream for the public to watch. You can view it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqGYo7d4_Yo
