Harry, from Shadeland [avenue] Pittsburg (Pennsylvania), second lieutenant 332 Infantry Regiment (US Army). - Commander of a patrol with the task of a daring reconnaissance on the Tagliamento, was a constant example of courage, serenity and without regard of the danger, contributed effectively to the successful outcome of the action. - Ponte della Delizia on the Tagliamento, 3 November 1918.
