Located in Heard Co. Veterans Park, a monument holding a brass plaque listing deaths from WW1, WW2, Korea and Vietnam.  Three (3) names for WW1 are listed.

Inscription: “Dedicated to all Heard County veterans in honor of those who paid supreme sacrifice. By Heard County Post 148 American Legion

The Veterans Park consists of a wall of inscribed memorial bricks and a community gazebo.

Located in a beautifully re-purposed traditional red barn, Heritage Park Veterans Museum is dedicated to all veterans and their families and to those that serve now and in the future. The museum is full of vehicles, uniforms, and artifacts, a lasting display of the two Henry County Medal of Honor recipients, and a Henry County Fallen Hero area. Open Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Granite memorial listing twenty-six service members from Jefferson Co, GA who died in WW1 service. This monument joins those of the other wars and conflicts in a completely renovated Veterans’ Plaza on the front lawn of the historic courthouse.

Inscription: “The Forgotten War - World War I - 1914-1918 - Honoring Those Who Served. Remembering Those Who Gave Their Lives That They May Not Be Forgotten.”
