• This book, a first-hand account of service in WWI on the Italian Front, was written by an Italian Army officer who served with the XXIII Assault Battalion of the Italian Army, the Bersagliere-Arditi unit that trained the U.S. 332nd Infantry Regiment at Valeggio sul Mincio. The original book and the republished version are both entirely in Italian.
